Security Notice

Thursday, July 5th, 2007
For our regular readers, you have probably followed our past advice on how to protect your machine from malware infections. While we have supported Lava-Soft's Ad-Aware program for several years, we find ourselves in a hard spot today.

We have been very patient with Lava-Soft in getting the new 2007 version working smoothly, but it just seems that it is not going to happen. I have fielded several complaints and many questions ranging from...how to use it -to- how to speed it up, and still we can not offer any new answers.

Along with these issues pertaining to the function of Ad-Aware, I have discovered  advanced malware that does not get flagged/removed by Ad-Aware or Spybot Search & Destroy, my two favorite protectors of 2006.

In the year 2007, some of the malware (and their creators) have advanced in their techniques and so, we must do the same to counter their actions.

Personally, I have spent years researching security software programs and have tried just about everything out there. So, I have decided to annouce the "replacement scanner of today" that will, without a doubt, protect your machine!

Right now my machine is running Windows Defender and CounterSpy v2.5...with NO OTHER malware protection. Yet, I know I can roam the web hunting for malware, and rest easy knowing that I am protected. Why not surf trouble-free and gain more of your time back in the process?
